Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The thing that makes my students special is that I have such a wide group of learners, I have a combination classroom of 5th-6th grade students that contain higher level thinkers as well as some students that struggle with academics. My students love hands on centers and I think circuits would be a great addition to our classroom.
I feel like this project would be perfect for the age group I have, making the younger grade level explore and causing the older students to enhance what they learned the previous year.
I chose a variety of circuits so students can grow with their discoveries.
One of my students asked for this center with great enthusiasm. He brought his circuits to school and gave a wonderful presentation. He got the class excited about using them.
