This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at Ed Cody will work together on the BIT Board Kits to reinforce how circuits work. Students are required to learn about electrical engineering and circuits are fundamental piece. These Circuit BIT Boards will help facilitate enriching experiences that will help them understand the difference between open and closed circuits and parallel vs series circuits in a hands on engaging way. Circuit Bit Boards open up all kinds of higher level questioning and thinking strategies. And the best part? Students would be the ones taking charge of their own learning! I want them leave confident in their ability to problem solve by giving them the tools to define their own journey. After all, that is where growth and learning happen.
