Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A significant portion of my students come from low-income backgrounds and lack access to a diverse range of books. Introducing this bookshelf will inspire them to explore multiple titles. I aim to offer my students access to books while they're in my care. Exposure to literature will enrich their minds. My students are special because they bring an inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn despite the challenges they may face outside of the classroom. Their young minds are like sponges, ready to absorb new knowledge and experiences. They often display resilience and creativity in problem-solving, as they navigate their environment with limited resources. Additionally, they form close bonds with their peers and teachers, fostering a sense of community and support within the classroom. Overall, their unique blend of innocence, enthusiasm, and adaptability makes them truly remarkable.
