My Project
Having a rug in a classroom helps students learn spatial awareness to others especially after times like these. It creates a spot to do morning meetings where we share and come up with solutions. It is also a place where we can stop and circle up to address problems that other students bring up during the day. It can also be a place where I can quickly see all of my class learning and participating in phonics programs like Heggerty. This rug will match my classroom and is dark in color so that it doesn't look dirty from the black top. My students are very special in the way that they are problem solvers and leaders and I want to create a place where we can meet and take ownership of our problems and solve them together.
