My Project

Carpet time is a staple and a must in kindergarten classrooms.The alphabet activity carpet will provide a safe and comfortable space for my students to learn.

This is more than just a carpet but an interactive space that will help students build alphabet and number skill as they play and explore!

Perfect for a variety of skill-building learning games and activities, because the carpet has large numbers from 1 through 20, all color-coded by sets of five. It also has 26 friendly bees that show the entire alphabet around the carpet’s perimeter.

We will explore math and science concepts through games and activities while sitting on the carpet and young children learn best when they feel comfortable and safe.

My students come from challenging backgrounds and the carpet space will provide opportunities for my class to have a morning meeting where we can explore and develop social emotional skills and practices.

On this rug, we can model how to express our feelings in a healthy and appropriate manner.
