My Students
Let's get ready to become Mini-Mozarts! My kindergarten and first grade students are working every day to meet our big goal of becoming Mini-Mozarts. Mini-Mozarts use beautiful singing voices and incredible instrumental skills.
My students attend a very low income urban school.
The teachers at my school work tirelessly to provide these students with an excellent education and opportunities they deserve, but don't always get. They are some of the brightest and most loving students you will have ever met.
My Project
My students LOVE singing and LOVE music class, but don't have a beautiful carpet to sit on. We sit on the floor with tape designating their spots. Wouldn't it be nice to have a rug that could inspire these Mini-Mozarts to do great things? Who knows, perhaps in my classroom on this new rug, I could be giving a Mini-Mozart the skills and tools they need to eventually get a scholarship in college!!
Donating to this project will improve the conditions of our music classroom.
My students will learn even more during each class I have with them because they will finally be comfortable in their classroom.
