This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will benefit greatly from having the opportunity for circle time in the classroom. I hope to engage students by implementing more SEL opportunities in the classroom. This is a combination 1/2 grade class, and rotations are frequent in the classroom.
Having students rotate from the carpet to their learning centers will help me tremendously in terms of structure in the classroom.
This will also spark their interest and motivate them to collaborate as a team and to participate. Students will also benefit from the flexible seating option. This will allow for fun activities that support students and their growth.
