This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These are neurodivergent students from kindergarten to 2nd grade in a special education classroom.
As a kinder-second grade classroom, we spend much of our time on the floor while working and listening to instruction and carpet time supports our students with sensory needs.
I am building a new classroom with limited resources. This carpet will make a huge difference in the lives of many. Besides circle time the students can use this carpet during free play and other learning experiences. Please help me create a learning environment for my students.
