My Students

I am a reading teacher and interventionist in a wonderful school in Wisconsin. My students are exceptional, and I love going to school every day to see the sparkle in my students' eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! My students love to read, pretend and imagine. They are curious and love to learn! We all participate in learning every day. They love so many fun activities throughout the year, and we hope to add even more. My students are amazing!

My Project

Learning to read is such a critical and basic life skill. Being able to read opens the doors to all of the other kinds of learning. I love to work with students who struggle with reading and need some very important, classroom basics to make that happen. The phonics cards that I am requesting are our most important, most basic tool in the classroom. These cards will be used every single day, all day long. They will be used for years to come and will help me to teach many, many students how to read using chunking, encoding, and decoding.

It is so special to see kids who struggle with reading absolutely take off and soar, and these cards are the most important basic when it comes to our learning.

Every kid wants to be able to read, and I am asking for classroom basics to make that happen! Let's start the year off right with these learning materials! I am asking for these phonemes, grapheme, and morpheme cards to help my students learn to read. We will use these items to do basic, everyday activities, like putting sounds together to make words, sound recognition, and breaking words into syllables in super fun ways. We can't wait to have fun learning to read! It is going to be so much fun to use these new goodies! Thank you so much for your help. We really appreciate it!
