This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every June our class embarks on a new adventure! We read a book until the last day of school. Each year, I carefully plan out which book will help my students' imagination soar. This year the "Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" was chosen. This book will give my students the opportunity to use their imaginations of a far off land with so many adventures and opportunities. It will give them a chance to enjoy the magic of reading!
The Chronicles of Narnia will teach my students the value of forgiveness, courage, compassion and good versus evil.
My students come from all walks of life and have overcome the pandemic with such determination to learn that if this project is funded it will show them that anything is possible when they believe in themselves and treat one another with love and compassion!
