This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Chronic absenteeism is a persistent issue in educational settings, leading to significant negative consequences for student's academic progress and overall well-being. To combat this problem, this project aims to highlight the importance of students attending school regularly. It proposes using snack incentives as a motivational tool to encourage consistent attendance. Regular attendance plays a crucial role in students' academic and personal development.
Students benefit from academic achievement, emotional well-being, and skill development by attending school consistently.
Chronic absenteeism refers to students missing a significant number of school days. Implementing snack incentives can be an effective strategy to encourage regular attendance and combat chronic absenteeism for the following reasons: tangible rewards, positive engagement, health and nutrition, and community involvement. By creating a positive and engaging school environment, we can empower students to develop a lifelong commitment to education and maximize their potential for success.
