My Students
My students are a group of enthusiastic learners! In English class is filled with creativity and problem solving. In order to foster growth, our classroom needs technology to support the 21st Century learner in our fast paced world.
Students will explore literature through the use of technology.
We need chromes to help us meet this goal.
My students are an energetic group that likes fun and challenging problems. The students are a group of diverse 8th graders from a suburban school containing approximately 900 students.
My Project
I am requesting four Chromebooks for my students to be used for projects in English and to deepen their understanding of the content. I also want to use Google classroom to teach students how to organize type essays and research topics in my English class. In addition, Chromebooks would be used to learn critical thinking skills that are relevant in the 21st century. Specifically, students will use Chromebooks to research information about a topic they are assigned in English class. Having students actively engaged in the curriculum and using 21st century skills will make them more prepared for the world we live in today.
