My Students

Our school is a community of lifelong learners; a dynamic administration, dedicated staff, creative parents, and welcoming crossing guard. On a typical morning, kids are greeted by teachers as they scamper around the school discussing the latest and greatest classroom activities and books.

Our students live like writers and readers; constantly applying their lessons throughout their daily lives.

While they are intrigued by other subjects, our students engross themselves in good books with complete pleasure. Students set reading goals, participate in book clubs and conduct research from a young age.

My Project

Essential skills change so quickly in the era of technology. What is important to know and understand one year becomes antiquated the following year. To keep up with the ever changing demands of our rapidly changing world, students must have access to current events and research. Chromebooks are an important tool for children to be able to keep up with current events, science, technology and engineering. Being able to conduct research and build their own ideas about new information and theories of scientists will motivate and encourage a lifetime of intrigue and interest in the world around them. The materials in this project will help our class to realize that they have the power to make a difference at any age.
