My Students
My students are energetic and intellectually curious. My students are brilliant and hard-working. These children have unlimited potential for good, and I want to help empower them to achieve their dreams. They come from a broad variety of backgrounds, and they have so much to offer each other by working collaboratively.
My students do not have access to the technology that they need to gain high demand skills for college and careers.
My students need to be able to have access to some level of technology in order to learn how to research and present information. They need to become more fluent with basic software such as the Microsoft Office Suite. My students all have access to all that Microsoft has to offer, they just do not have any devices in order to use that access.
In order to help my students learn Spanish, and prepare for their future, I try to include as much technology into my class as possible. Students write their own children's books, do research projects, and present their research in Spanish to their peers.
My Project
My students need chromebooks so that they can learn to use Microsoft Office products and other computer skills. These chromebooks will help my students be more college and career ready and will empower them for success in and out of my classroom.
My students are brilliant, but they are falling behind in their ability to use technology because it is not available in their school.
I want to give them the opportunity to use chromebooks to research, prepare information in a variety of formats, and present their information to the class, in Spanish!
With these chromebooks, my students will work learn new things and to teach each other what they have learned.d
