Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a diverse group of students from various backgrounds. All of my students have a curious mind and dedication to their learning. But I also have students that come from various backgrounds. Several of my students are English learners or recently reclassified English learners. I also have students with learning disabilities and gifted students. Other students are English only speakers. Several of my students have not had the same experiences and opportunities as others which puts them at a disadvantage.

By giving them the necessary tools like technology, art supplies, reading books, and other school supplies, I am giving all of my students a great start to a successful future.

Even though my students come from various backgrounds, there's one thing that makes them the same. They love learning, especially when they get to learn in creative ways.

My Project

I am requesting one chrome book for my students so they can practice their typing, math, reading, and writing skills. With this chrome book, my students will be more engaged, learn to collaborate, and will be better prepared for those in demand technology based careers.

Technology skills like programming are important in getting students prepared for a competitive technological world.

Many of my students become more engaged when they have a chrome book in front of them. They are more willing to participate using google classroom and other collaborative websites. This chrome book will be used to help some of my students who need to practice their computer skills a bit more.

Some of my students struggle with reading and/or math standards and need time on the chrome book to work on interactive reading, math, and science websites in my everyday lessons and in all subjects.
