My students need Chromebooks to help with social studies research, science projects, and to develop math and reading skills. These Chromebooks will help us keep up with our constantly changing world.

My Students

As a magnet school that sits just blocks from the hustle and bustle of a the Chicago downtown area, my students exemplify one of the most diverse socio-economic populations around. With such diversity comes energy, creativity, innovation, and talent.

Many of our students do not have access to books, technology, etc.

at home. My goal is to give my students access to these resources so that they can fully reach their potential as learners and show the world how very intelligent and talents they are.

My Project

Everyday a little over 90 students enter my classroom for social studies, math, algebra, and literacy - these students deserve access to technology. Currently, five classrooms are sharing one Chromebook cart. This makes it very difficult for my class to access the technology needed to research historical figures, practice math concepts, and write research papers - to name of few - as needed.

By donating two Chromebooks you will help my students gain access to this technology.

The Chromebooks will help one group of students practice concepts or do research while other students are working at centers or working on direct instruction. Little by little I hope to grow our classroom's technology. This donation is just the beginning.
