Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in the small Texas town of Chaparral NM surrounded by beautiful bilingual students who want to make this world a better place by learning all they can about science, technology, engineering, and math.

The kids here are blessings in my life!

They are ready to experience, and they appreciate learning and sharing what they have learned and putting it to good use to better serve their community. I know no one becomes a teacher to be rich; we become teachers because we love kids and we want to make a difference in their lives.

My Project

Never before have we been in this situation where students and teachers are at home. School learning was never about the building because teachers are still teaching and kids are still learning. But not all of our kids have access to devices and this could help parents with what they have to do at home.

Help me provide for our most underprivileged and youngest group by providing some Chromebooks they can check out from me for home use.

We live in difficult times and some of our students are too young to understand what's going on and they shouldn't suffer more than they need to, I am sure they miss their friends and teachers.
