Help me give my students Chromebooks. We currently do not have enough Chromebooks for each student in the class. This is just one more challenge to meeting the individual needs of students during these crazy times.
I am privileged to teach 30 wonderful students. They come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Each student comes with many skills and abilities, but also challenges to overcome. Life has been throwing all of us some unique challenges lately and it is amazing watching them learn and grow and helping them on their journey.
My Project
COVID-19 has brought many challenges to the classroom. One of the bigger challenges is meeting individual needs. Students have come in with vastly different abilities and are struggling to meet the standards they need to thrive in 6th grade.
With many tools and resources provided by the state, district, and school it is unfortunate to not be able to use these resources because we don't have enough Chromebooks for the students to use.
Even though this project does not fund very many Chromebooks, it gives me a little bit more to help meet student needs.
