This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have been an iPad school for a while and while we absolutely prefer to use our iPads during learning, we definitely have come to rely on students having their devices. Using technology for certain parts of the class help us save paper and support student preparedness for higher education and college.
Having Chromebooks available to students who forget their devices at home is important to keep kids on track and growing.
We all have days that don't quite go our way, and so while there are concequences for forgetting their devices, we ultimately do not want to hold them back from their learning throughout the school day.
The additional Chromebooks that I am requesting would provide students with a loaner for the day that they have forgotten their device.
