My Students

Even in the developing parts of the world, kids take to computers like fish to water.” Kids love technology. I want to be able to expose them more to technology using these resources.

My students are some of the sweetest, hardworking, and caring young people I have ever had the privilege of teaching.

There is only one problem. Many of them come from very under privileged homes. Their parents are out of work and out of money. They spend their time worrying about other things than school work, but these students have overcome the obstacles. My students need a Macbook computer and Chomebook to help with standardized testing.

My Project

These students will be taking technology that they are not exposed to normally at home and using it to explore the world around them. They will also be doing something they have never done before. They will begin state testing on these devices. I hope to be able to give them opportunities they might have never been able to before.

I can't wait to see their faces with 2 brand new computers.

All they have ever seen is hand-my-downs. They will be thrilled. I can't wait to show them the limitless things that they can do now.
