Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I work in a high poverty school in the south Bronx.
This project will help support my 25 vibrant second graders.
My class is in need of some important materials that will assist students in learning. I am a teacher in a low-income public school in the Bronx. My students come to school eager to learn forgetting what surrounds them in their neighborhood. I care for my students and their needs. My parents do not have the resources to get my students what they require. My students need Chromebooks to assist them in their reading and mental math.
This project is in desperate in need of amazing supporters as yourself. My students are in a desperate need of tools that they do not have in the classroom. My students live in a poor community that lacks resources they need. This project will support students in an ICT class with general education students and also students with special needs.
My Project
My students are bright and very dedicated students. My students need real life experiences in order to make real life connections. I will like to provide that exposure for them. I want to get them ready for the future. I would like to expose my students to coding and technology use. I would like all my students to be provided the opportunity to use technology. Even though the school is located in a low income area, I would like to provide the opportunity to try coding while and enjoying themselves. My students will discover a new world of play and learning while using myOn, STmath, and Iready. Not only the use of the Osmo Gaming System will support them in learning to CODE in a new way. The Osmo gaming system is a groundbreaking system encourages creative thinking and social interaction by expanding gameplay beyond the screen. Also the chromebooks and laptop will allow my students to use the reading and math apps.
