My Students

Our classroom hums with activity on a daily basis with students working in groups, individually, and with teachers. An integral part of this work revolves around using technology integrated in the everyday fabric of the classroom for word processing, presenting information, and researching topics.

We are 19 talented and creative students from a small town in Northern California.

Our school is a supportive and close-knit community that appreciates the academics, arts, and extracurricular activities. We would love to have more access to technology to pursue our diverse interests.

My Project

We are moving from a lab based technology model to a more fluid approach to using technology in the classroom. This allows students to use Chromebooks in a location and time appropriate to their needs and not on a set schedule. As students need to access to the Internet for research or to create a presentation for a final project they can accomplish this task.

Chromebooks are a tool and resource all students need access to and with this project more students will have the dedicated time they need to use this invaluable technology.

By funding this project our technology to student ratio will be lower allowing wider access to all.
