My Students

My students love to learn! If given the choice, they would lay on the floor and read most of the day. They also love hands-on learning. I'm so fortunate to guide them in their journey and wish to provide them with a vibrant, well-equipped classroom.

I teach twenty-three fifth-graders in a high poverty high needs school.

100% of our students get free breakfast and lunch. We have thirty-eight home languages! Our families are very involved, and the kids are bright and inquisitive.

My Project

Our school district has purchased subscriptions to great reading and math applications. The reading is high-interest books that the students can request and read with narration. The math program is set up like a series of games and challenges that reinforce what we learn in class. In addition, we have a tremendous writing curriculum that gives the students a great base in real-life writing skills.

Mys students need Chromebooks to access these amazing resources.

Adding five more Chromebooks to the ones I already have will let more of my class use them at the same time. Won't you please consider helping us get these valuable classroom resources?
