My Students

Our classroom is full of students ready to learn! The students especially love anything that deals with technology.

The students in my class are aware that going to our school was a choice by their family to help nurture their love of learning.

You see, our school is a small public charter school in North Carolina. Because of their families' choice, I believe the students are more aware of how valuable education is and they have open hearts and minds to absorb all the knowledge they can! Since our school is a charter school, it is not fully funded by the state and we rely on parent donations, fundraisers, and the community businesses to help fulfill our materials, technology, and supply needs.

My Project

I envision the students using these 2 Chromebooks and the management software that allows us to service the Chromebooks more efficiently as part of our daily rotation in math and reading, along with publishing writing projects. Our school uses Dreambox and RAZ Kids, computer educational sites, as fun filled instruction that reach all levels of learners. I hope that my students grow to new heights in all areas using this technology!

Donations to this project for 2 Chromebooks and support software will improve our classroom because it will engage students in leveled learning and allow them to create amazing project and presentations to share with the class.

This will also allow us to meet our technology standards outlined by our curriculum.
