This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a socioeconomically challenged neighborhood. They are very adventurous and curious. They love to learn but just need a little extra funding to be able to get supplies.

In school, we feed them not only free lunch but also free breakfast and free snack.

There is a mix of many backgrounds and cultures, which means many different languages as well. Our teachers and staff try their hardest to give our students the tools they need to be successful!

My Project

As of right now, I have very old technology in my classroom that is inadequate and not up to date to teach students how they should be taught and expected to learn in in today’s classrooms.

There are so many valuable resources my students can use on Chromebooks.

Not only is this a tool for them to practice their typing skills, but it also allows them the freedom to explore more applications in our ever-changing world of technology!

With these Chromebooks and these whiteboards, my students will be able to access their textbooks and practice their math problems. My students are highly motivated to research topics on the web and create meaningful projects using popular applications. Students will be able to receive personalized learning through the use of the Chromebooks.
