My students need IdeaPad Chromebooks for Differentiation of Instruction. While some of the students are using the laboratory equipment and others are reading, another group will use the Chromebooks for on-line research and the Explore learning.

My Students
The students in my classes are highly motivated "inner-city" students from low-income families. All receive free meals. These students go the extra mile and have a great regard for their education. All show learning gains when exposed to a curriculum which is presented using a hands-on teaching/learning style.
The students are very inquisitive and they love to ask questions.
Instead of just giving them the answers, many times they will design an experiment which will reveal the answers they seek.
My Project
On-line learning is an integral part of the science curriculum. The textbook is on-line, the resource and lab manuals are on-line and there are numerous science related on-line activities. The school provides WiFi to the classrooms so that the students can better reach the internet.
The ChromeBooks will allow all students who do not have internet capabilities at home to utilize the school WiFi to reach science resources, perform science related on-line activities such as GIZMOs and complete scientific on-line research.
Differentiation of Instruction allows for better use of the scientific materials by allowing students to work in small groups.
