My Students

My school is located in Fayetteville, NC. We serve a large population of military families.

I love the diverse backgrounds that our community brings to the classroom.

I have had the pleasure of teaching students who had come from schools in Korea, Germany, and all over the United States. My students are special in many ways!

My rising 2nd grade students are inquisitive and enthusiastic about learning. My students are committed to becoming fluent readers and critical thinkers, and love working together to learn new things.

My students love to collaborate and research Genius Hour projects together, read books, play math games, and do science experiments.

My students are also becoming proficient in using technology to further enhance their learning and to share what they have learned with their families.

My Project

My students need three Chromebooks to help meet a variety of learning goals in our second grade classroom.

My students will use these Chromebooks to engage in multiple learning opportunities, to collaborate with their classmates using Google Classroom & Book Creator, to conduct research for their Genius Hour projects, to create their own portfolios on Seesaw and much much more.

My students will also use these Chromebooks to share their learning with their parents and loved ones through digital portfolios. Living in a military community like Fayetteville, NC, it is crucial that my students can digitally share their learning with deployed parents and family.

My students will be over the moon to have these Chromebooks in our classroom. Thank you for helping my future leaders think critically, be creative, collaborate, and communicate with Chromebooks.
