My Students

I have 21 first graders who all come from different backgrounds. They are all full of energy with a willingness and motivation to learn.

Having such motivated learners is inspiring as a teacher, and I am constantly looking for new ways to push and challenge all my students.

We believe that we are all leaders and that it is important to have a Growth Mindset. My 1st graders know to never say "I can't do this," but to say "I can't do this, YET!"

My Project

In my classroom, students will be utilizing these 3 Chromebooks in many different ways. Students would use them to research and create projects, access and create their own manipulatives in math, and use the computer programs that our school provides to support learning. The more opportunities we can give students with technology, the better prepared out students will be for the real world.

Getting these extra Chromebooks into my classroom will have a major impact on my students' learning.

It will help prepare them as they continue their educational journey in first grade, along with preparing them for the digital world in which they live.
