My Students

The 9th and 10th-grade Scholars I service are Multicultural and living with Exceptional Needs all of who receive free lunch. I teach Instructional Algebra 1 in a separate setting within our High School. Each Scholar has various and unique needs that require differentiated and individualized instruction.

Our school is not one-to-one technology-based.

The Scholars are struggling without the ability to engage with the online platforms and personalized learning websites that were used during the pandemic. As Vanessa Vega, an Edutopia Research Analyst, says, "At the heart of effective technology integration, technology offers opportunities to be more actively involved in the learning experience."

My Project

Our school is not one-to-one technology-based. The Scholars are struggling without the ability to engage with the online platforms and personalized learning websites that were used during the pandemic. It is near to impossible to reserve a set of Chromebooks just for these Scholars as the few Chromebook carts are in use in other MYP classes.

By donating to this project, it will ensure that these Exceptional Scholars will have access to technology daily for projects, slide presentations, and personalized learning.
