My students need Chromebooks so that they can work together to engage in 21st Century learning skills.

My Students

My students are motivated learners who live in a small city in upstate New York. They live in a community where there are high needs and many have had very few real life experiences. I am looking to provide opportunities for my students to be 21st Century Learners.

My students are energetic children that are eager to learn and grow.

They attend an elementary school at a K-6 building. There are approximately 450 students at our school. I want to give them opportunities at school that they have not been given at home.

My Project

Right now, our classroom has a few dated desktop computers. I am looking for 10 Chromebooks for our class of 24 students. This would allow me to create activities that small groups of students could work together to complete on the Chromebook.

They could be connected to the world, learn 21st Century Skills and collaborate to become real world learners utilizing updated technology.

I want to connect my students to Google Classroom and make put some assignments online so that they can become more proficient with computer skills. They can also learn to type, which is an essential skill. Chromebooks will open the door for real world learning in my classroom.
