My students are special because they are a diverse group of learners from all around San Ramon. With the businesses in town, we have a melting pot of diverse backgrounds that make learning world history, writing, and literature a lot of fun!
My students range greatly on where they land as far as affluence and educational background but come together as equal partners on their journey for knowledge!
Technology is a great way to bring them together through cooperative learning and innovation.
My project is to get 5 Chromebooks to keep in my classroom at all times. The technology available on campus currently is shared and not always available, especially given the computerized standardized testing schedule.
Given the day and age we live in, it is imperative for students to be well versed in technology.
Having access to Chromebooks daily in the classroom will open up a virtual door to the lessons I can teach and the creativity the students can show. It is only fair to teach the students in the same medium we test them in and it is my hope to prepare them best I can for their future!
