My students need 3 Lenovo Chromebooks for a technology center in the media center.
This project expired on June 25, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Collaboration is an important part of a good education. I am the media specialist at a rural Title 1 primary school in the southern part of Georgia. Our school has approximately 850 students. My goal is to have students become more proficient with technology and Google Classroom. Chromebooks will make this possible.
Our school's vision statement is "Providing opportunities today for excellence tomorrow!" I want to provide new opportunities for my students so they will be successful later on in life.
Having the three Lenovo Chromebooks will allow for different structures of learning in my library. One way they will be used is a center for Technology. Students will have the opportunity to rotate through this center. This Technology center will have students focus on not only typing, writing, research, creating presentations, and blogging, but they will also be learning the foundational skill of navigating through the web and using Google Classroom. Technology in the classroom is at an all-time high for our 2nd-grade students as they transition to third grade where they will take a standardized test online next year.
