My Students

My students are definitely one of a kind! We live in an area where most students don't want to go home at the end of every day. They want to be at school because it is a safe place for them, and I want it to be a place of safety AND learning, too!

Technology is the way of the future, and with this project we can bring technology-based learning to children who might never see it again once they leave school.

With your help, these students can get things they've never had before! They can increase their learning through funding, and that's all up to you! These kids are our future...and sometimes they need all the help they can get!

My Project

I work at a low-income, high poverty school where most children receive free breakfast and lunch. We also have a backpack program for those students who cannot find food or other necessities when they go home. I want school to be a place where they can see things they might never have seen before, and to introduce them to the world through technology.

Technology is our future, and we as teachers can help foster a wonderful understanding between our students and the technological world we all live in.

I want to have a laptop for every child, so we can learn about the wonders of the world together through the amazing resources that can be found online!
