My students work hard all year long. We don't receive any extra funding and we don't have the latest and greatest technology. We do the best with what we have.
Our school has fundraisers, but the money normally goes to playground equipment and transportation for field trips.
It would be great to have some additional items that students will expand their critical thinking skills.
I finished getting my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology in May 2017. This school year I am part of a program to be a Tech Master Teacher. This encourages me to use more technology in he classroom.
My Project
Chromebooks will make a difference in our classroom because they are lightweight, easy to use, and allow students to use the internet based materials we use. There are so many tools available without needing a big laptop. I am trying to incorporate Google classroom with my students, so Chromebooks would help us on this journey. Having a Google classroom allows students access to materials on many different devices whether they are at school or at home. Chromebooks are also smaller to store and charge so they are ideal for the classroom. The more technology we can add to our classroom, the better!
