My Students

My students this year are significantly lower than I've had previously, but they are creative, enthusiastic and eager to learn. They make me want to find extra ways to meet their varying ability levels. I would love to be able to work more effectively in small groups and have access to quality technology resources to supplement learning.

My Project

This year we implemented an new program into our school. This program is called i-Ready and gives the students access to lessons, practice and games to develop their understanding. Because of COVID and online learning, students are used to doing things online and have grown accustomed to learning using a computer. Our school is a larger elementary in a growing area. Because of this, our class sizes are increasing each year. I barely have enough Chromebooks for half my class and next year will likely not have enough. Adding an additional three Chromebooks would ensure that I have enough for additional students in my classroom.
