My Students
The students at our school are special because they are realizing their potential in the EdTech world. West Hollywood students are engaging with technology to be creative communicators, knowledge constructors, innovative designers and global collaborators. We are preparing our students to be empowered learners who show empathy.
Making connections to technology means building background in the real world.
This year we are focused on the ISTE Standard: Global Collaborator. Learning about others outside our immediate community helps students see multiple perspectives. With technology, students will be able to make connections to the real world and the digital world.
My Project
These materials will help students with their everyday classwork in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Students will be thrilled to have their own device instead of having to share and wait their turn!
Imagine starting your school day and grabbing the Chromebook with your name & number on it.
Opening it up, you click on Google Classroom and there's an announcement from your teacher for you to comment on with your peers. You do that. Then you click over to Classwork, and see your first assignment of the day. Your day is off to a great start with Google Classroom!
