My students are very enthusiastic about science and technology. They are a bright group of learners.
My students are engaged and ready to learn.
My school is a Title I school. I have a range of students from those who need extra help to students that are advanced.
My fourth graders love to work together and collaborate with other students. They are very excited about learning about engineering, science, and technology. They are always asking when are we going to do our next science experiment.
Our classroom is slowly building up technology in hopes that eventually we'll be one-on-one.
The Chromebooks will provide more access to technology for my students.
This year I started using interactive whiteboard to demonstrate lessons. I would like to add a collaborative component. Students would use their Chromebooks to answer questions on the interactive whiteboard.
Additionally, the Chromebooks would provide opportunities for more students to be working on technology at the same time. In my class we type our papers, use Kahoot for interactive quizzing, and use online resources for our curriculum such as ConnectEd and Thinkcentral. I would love to have all of my students engaged in these activities at the same time for my effective learning.
I have also included a tech tub to store and charge the resources. This is necessary to keep the technology "ready to go" at all times.
