My students need two more Chromebooks to have the opportunity to use computers more often.
This project expired on March 24, 2015.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Hyperactivity is a word used quite often within my classroom; and when it comes to pen and paper writing, my students often struggle with staying focused. When allowed to type their writing, they become excited to write.
However, with only 7 Chromebooks in my room, and many who hate writing, it becomes a huge problem.
Each student has a Google docs account through our school district, so all of their work can be easily saved with a Chromebook. We are also working on setting up Google Classroom. With these Chrome Books, I feel our school will be ahead of the technology age.
Chromebooks will allow my students to work in groups or pairs on projects, WebQuests, writing, and experiments, as well as help them learn how to collaborate with classmates. Students will also be able to create their own WebQuests and use educational sites for research.
Adding two more Chromebooks to my classroom will allow my students to use computers more often.
They will be able to type papers, research, create WebQuests, and explore the world. Having more computers in my classroom will be much more manageable than having just two. I could have two or three students share a Chromebook rather than ten share one computer.
