My Students

My students inspire me every day with their work ethic and willingness to strive for their goals. Even though many of them are in low income households, they are eager to learn and excited about the world around them. They are compassionate, kind and truly care about others. These amazing young people want to learn about other cultures, share ideas and collaborate with students from around the globe.

We are a Title I school that strives to provide the best possible learning environment with what we have available.

Our school is in a rural area that lacks the economic support and funding of larger metropolitan areas. This places my students at a great disadvantage technologically.

Each of these students has the ability to change the world. With your help, we can provide a platform for them to share their talents and ideas beyond the four walls of the classroom.

My Project

Chromebooks will allow my students to explore many math programs only available through technology. These Chromebooks will provide my students with technology that would otherwise not be available to them. Many come from low socioeconomic backgrounds which greatly limits their exposure to technology.

Your donation will open my students' eyes to the world around them.

They will be able to learn about other cultures and obtain new perspectives through collaboration with students across the globe. This will broaden their horizons, building a strong base for the challenges that they will face as our future leaders. My goal is to utilize technology so that my students will gain a deeper understanding of the world around them, opening up new possibilities for the future. My students will use the Chromebooks to utilize online resources that they would not have access to without a device.

Our school, students and staff were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
