Building relationships and creating engaging activities helps to promote learning in the classroom. The use of technology is another tool to engage students to become better readers, writers, mathematicians, and so much more. The use of computers is a necessary skill students need to learn to be successful in the future.

My classroom is filled with twenty one energetic and excited learners. All my students are excited to learn and love learning through technology. Our school promotes learning at the highest level and another tool that helps us reach this goal is the use of technology.
The students in my classroom are excited to be challenged to learn! Students love having time to use technology in class, but we just don't have the technology to support it! Some students do not have access to technology at home. I would love to be able to share this amazing educational tool with them.
My Project
These Chromebooks will be one step closer for our classroom to have one-to-one devices in our room. Having these devices helps students utilize the programs we have for reading and math. Currently, our school uses the programs HeadSprout and Splash Math. Having more Chromebooks will help us to use these programs on a more consistent basis.
Chromebooks will help us continue our learning through technology during times when our computer labs are closed due to testing.
Students will be able to continue using different resources even when the computer lab is closed. The use of technology is a major life skill children need to learn. Having the Chromebooks as part of our everyday learning will help them in the future.
