My Project
One item that we have unfortunately lost this school year is a laptop that will run our small group games and activities. Although my students have a Chromebook, their Chromebooks do not run Java Script which is necessary to animate images in gaming concepts. Without Java Script, videos like Khan Academy and games such as Gimkit do not display image results.
A new class MacBook Air would live at our small group table so every student would have access to engaging, competitive learning activities.
My students would also use this laptop to work through STEAM activities such as animated weather maps during hurricane season. Canva presentations would also be created on this laptop and displayed on a school-wide TV display. (My students work on classes, announcements, etc.) Please help my students have access to a laptop that supports Java imaging to help them stay on top of their learning!
