Chromebooks and Students Together!

Help me give my students the opportunity to access the internet during our literacy stations and math stations and explore the concepts we learn in the classroom using Chromebooks.

My Students

As a teacher in an elementary school, grades 1-5, with diverse students from all nationalities, it is important to me that my students are equipped with the necessary tools to succeed. All of the students in my classroom receive free breakfast and lunch.

If I had to describe my students in a few words, I would say that they are dynamic, talented, and inquisitive.

We work together as a community of explorers, scientists, and researchers. Everyday is filled with new learning possibilities and challenges. My students are always willing to embrace these challenges and persevere.

My Project

My students need regular access to technology in order to explore and research on the internet. Many of the activities in grade 2 are delivered through the use of technology. Textbooks are outdated, and in the 21st century students are gathering information through the internet and by using online platforms.

These Chromebooks will provide my students the opportunity to take their instruction to the next level in a creative way using Google Slides and other technology-based programs.

What was once only imagined is now possible through the use of Chromebooks. Additionally, the school district will install the device management licenses, required for allowing for repairs and maintenance to occur if needed. A Belkin storage and charging station will allow our new technology to be easily stored and fully charged. With this additional technology available in the classroom the possibilities are endless.
