This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a World Language Teacher and Seminar (College and Career focus class), my goal is always to introduce my students to other cultures. It is imperative that my students learn about other cultures because the world is diverse and when they graduate from high school, there is a bigger possibility to be exposed to other cultures.
Therefore, to celebrate the Lunar New Year I want to continue to build the Chromebooks stations I have in order for every student to have technology readily available.
By having Chromebooks, each student can research the significance of the Lunar New Year and compare and contrast it to our own culture.
By doing this, it will expose my students at what other people around the world celebrate and it is mu hope that this project will influence them to learn more about others.
