My students need one more Chromebook and a charging station so that we have one for every two students.

My Students
I teach 167 students per day in 5 classes of eighth grade math. I am asking for funding for 1 Chromebook computer for student use. We are using Common Core and need to use computers for assessments, searching for information, textbook use, intervention, and translation for different language.
I have the most fantastic eighth grade students in the school.
They want to learn different techniques of math and graphing. They try very hard, but many have weaknesses and holes in their learning. My 167 students come from a variety of incomes, interests and nationalities. The students are from a city between Sacramento and San Francisco and most parents commute. The majority of students complete their classwork and homework. Their scores on SBAC ranged in all four areas (did not meet standards, nearly met, standards met, and exceeded) and my goal is to have all students in Standards met and/or exceeded. We are trying to have one to one devices at our school and our class has 17 Chromebooks and we are trying for one more Chromebook so a class of 36 can share.
My Project
We are using math textbooks that include technology, video chats, graphing, looking for info and taking assessments. Some of the students have native languages where Google Translate helps to change my instructions into their native languages. With one additional Chromebook, we will be able to share with a partner. Our eventual goal is to have 36 Chromebooks so each student can be on a computer for intervention review, mastery assessment, or to expand on a subject.
Our class will be closer to having 1 Chromebook for two students so every Chromebook helps us.
We have 17 computers that were donated through school funds, PTC, and District Office. The eighteenth Chromebook gives us one device for every two students.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
