My students need 2 Chromebook charge carts in order to keep their new Chromebooks stored securely, while also making sure that are being charged at times when they are not in use.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are bilingual learners, and most of them have been at the Hurley since Kindergarten. As sixth graders, students have a lot of responsibility and are expected to be role models for their younger peers. They are cheerful, bright, ready to learn individuals who crave challenge. My students value academics, but are also intrigued by different cultures and diversity within the community surrounding them. In mathematics, they cheer when we solve problems, and always ask for extra homework.
All of these students deserve to have the materials they need to be constantly challenged.

My Project
Students need the Chromebook carts to safely store their Chromebook at school when it is not being used. The charging cart will also ensure a long life for each of our devices. Students will be using their Chromebooks every day to maximize their learning. This project will ensure that the technology project we implement runs smoothly, and is a project we can carry out year after year.
This project also strives to close any and all access to technology gaps, allowing for all students to have the opportunity to build 21st century skills.
Having Chromebooks to use on a constant individual basis will completely change our students academic experience.
