This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students from 6th-8th grade who are usually coming to me for Speech and Language sessions always respond well with the help of new therapy materials. Students from middle schools are coming for the speech sessions from Monday-Friday.

As an SLP in a low-income, high-poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My Project

I am in need of a chrome book, that will help my speech and language students use it during a therapy session. If they are solving a word problem or answer the basic what, where, when, how, and why questions, the chrome book will be a good tool for the resource. I can have all of my students use it during the speech and language sessions. For example, if I am working on speech intelligibility or stuttering, I can get a passage from the website or articulation worksheet from the chrome book or laptop.
