My students are very bodacious and are always eager to learn. They work hard to accomplish all goals presented to them. It brings me great joy to teach such compassionate, determined students. My students get excited any time they are faced with a challenge because they know it’s one they can conquer.
They come to school each day ready to get to work, make their teacher proud, and see their classmates.
My school is a Title 1 school located in a rural area. 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We have very few resources and technology. Being in a poverty stricken area, students are rarely given opportunities to travel outside of our county. I have eighteen students in my classroom, nine boys and nine girls.
My students need Chromebooks to use. We have a limited number of classroom computers. I want to make sure my students have everything that they need to be successful. Students can learn at their own pace using individual Chromebook. These Chromebook will be used to take online assessments. There are so many programs that I will like for my students to use, such as MobyMax, ABCYA, Readworks, just to list a few.
I am always looking to implement new tools into my classroom to help every student be successful.
By having these Chromebooks, my students will become computer literate, and this is a skill that will allow my students to become lifelong learners.
