Chromebook Cart, Take 2

Help me give my students a chromebook cart and books from the sunshine book list.

My Students

Our school is a very large, diverse, community school. We serve students in grades preK up to the 5th grade. We have a large number of economically disadvantaged children, over half are minorities, around a fourth of our students come from military homes, and we have students who speak other languages.

I teach reading, writing, and social studies to two very large 4th grade classes.

Like our school population, my classroom is also diverse, including ESE students with varying exceptionalities and different skill levels. My students are eager learners who deserve the best resources and tools available to continue to grow into successful readers and young adults!

My Project

I am so fortunate to have 16 Chromebooks for my class to use. Currently, it can be a bit of a challenge to manage them, keep them charged, and organize the cords in an orderly fashion.

I'm requesting this Chromebook charging cart so that the Chromebooks will always be ready and easy for students to use when needed.

They will also be able to return the Chromebooks to their assigned slot and plug them in, taking responsibility for their classroom's materials.

Chromebooks are a regular part of class at the fourth grade level, and this cart will help our classroom to run so much more efficiently, which increases student learning.

I'm also requesting several books that are this year's Sunshine State Books to add to my classroom library.
