This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school each day with a smile on their face. Most of them went to PreK and are ready to learn. My students are very creative, energetic, and yearning to learn each day. I love that my students enjoy school. Even though they may not have everything they need at home, I want to provide everything they need while in my class. I want to be the reason that they want to come to school each day.

My Project

Most of my students do not have access to a computer or the internet at home. Our classroom only has 4 computers. Having Chromebook computers would help them with technology in the classroom. I would be able to have many programs installed for the students to be able to learn in their stations. Programs such as Starfall, ABCya!, and Istation would help them in reading. My kindergarten students are also responsible for computer projects every 9 weeks that they would be able to complete in class. Technology is becoming a must-have. I would greatly appreciate your support for my students.
