My Students

If you were to walk into my classroom you would meet a diverse group of learners, with diverse learning styles. You might see students collaborating on projects, or discussing a new book! You would see students who have a love for learning.

My goal as a teacher is to create lifelong learners.

I want students who are engaged in their learning, and can't wait to come to school. I believe one way I can meet this goal is to offer students materials that best fit their unique learning styles.

My Project

Technology plays a major role in today's world, and will more than likely play an even bigger role in the future. Our goal as teachers is to prepare our students for the future, and a part of that future is being able to efficiently use a variety of technology. My students are already able to do amazing things with the technology we currently have in our classroom. They can create presentations, research a topic, and share their learning in a variety of ways.

Access to technology opens the door for differentiation and choice in learning.

Students will have greater access to books that engage and challenge them. Students will have access to math games that reinforce the skills taught in the classroom. In Science students can explore the world all while sitting at their desks. Technology opens the door to endless learning possibilities.

With the current technology in our room we are limited by the number of students who can access technology at one time. That is why I need the 3 Chrome Books for my classroom. More of my student will be able to access technology at one time. With these 3 Chrome Books we will be able to do more projects and collaborative projects. Students will be more engaged and take control of their own learning!
